Many travellers visit Aitutaki Island and lagoon each year and with the ease of taking videos these days, many take the time to capture glimpses of what it is like to take a holiday there. This video clip was uploaded by a tourist staying in Aitutaki. There are a number of places to stay, from budget motels to 5-star resorts, but the destination is not over-populated or over-developed and remains a pristine destination.
See the waves gently lapping on a sandy beach in early morning, the higher peaks of Aitutaki island itself (which rises to 123 metres at its highest point), hermit crabs scurrying along the sand.
